Create A Writing Community
You write alone. Our goal is to create a NON-PROFIT community of writers- novelists, poets, scientists- anyone who finds joy in crafting words, from novices to published authors. We aim to encourage, educate and share the highs and lows of the writing process, ensuring our voices resonate within our community.
If your goal is to be published, we're here to support you. We hope that along the journey, you'll find like-minded individuals who share your your passion.
Ashland boasts numerous associations dedicated to visual and dramatic arts, offering various forms of support such as scholarships, grants, exhibition spaces. Such support is almost non-existent for the literary arts. Working together we can change this!
This group is for and by its members. For now we will continue monthly Meet and Greets. Eventually we would love to:
- Offer classes, both in-person and via Zoom, catering to all skill levels and interests.
- Include a resource directory on our website listing classes, available books, and seminars.
- Publish an online newsletter featuring events, and member works and achievements.
MEMBERSHIP
PCWis a non-profit community service. Once established, we will apply for 501(c)3 status. We welcome everyone, without exception. Hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. While we respect the right of all members to hold their own political views, we kindly ask that these be expressed through your writing.
